Joey Jordan has loved fantasy and science fiction since childhood. From a young age people told her she was going to be a great artist one day. One day a friend of hers told her about fantasy and science fiction conventions. Took her a few years before she actually checked one out, then she was hooked on cons ever since. Con-Artist has a nice ring to it...

Joey was a tank mechanic (electronic and hydraulic systems) in the Army (45K) Yep a girl. =) Tanks are bigger than they appear... Oh and she loves military grade glow sticks... ask her about the port-o-potty story if she has a few minutes... (It's William Warren Jr's favorite)

Her husband Shaun was an Apache Crew Chief in the Army. Helicopter slang and Tank slang in the army are totally different so she though he was full of shisters when they first met. =) They got off to a great start and make a wonderful Writerly and Artsy team! (Two clones were made of this union... Reily (Shaun's clone) and Ashlyn (Joey's clone))

Joey absolutely loves ancient civilizations and alternate history when it deals with ancient alien concepts.

Strange dreams and flash images are constantly a part of her life as an artist. She often jumps out of bed in the middle of the night to sketch down images and ideas that are too great to let fade.
